Birth - 3 years old:
- teaching babies how to crawl, sit, walk, and climb
- educating parents on children's developmental milestones and how to help their child reach these goals

- teaching kids how to run, negotiate stairs, and increase balance and agility
- teaching kids how to independently navigate their environment and obstacles

- teaching kids how to increase their balance, agility, coordination, and strength
- teaching kids the skills to participate in group related sports with their peers
Pediatric Myofascial Release
From Then, to Now:
Diana spent the first 10 years of her career solely working in the area of Pediatric Physical Therapy.
This included working with children from 2 weeks old, up to 21 years old.
Increasing all of these Gross Motor Skills (listed above) increases a child's ability to engage with their surroundings. Without these physical abilities, a child's ability to participate in activities with their peers will be limited, which will limit their social involvement. Diana has enjoyed watching children grow and become active members of their society.
Myofascial Release for Pediatric Patients:
Now that Diana has switched gears to performing Myofascial Release Therapy, she continues working with children in a different capacity. Diana has been able to draw on her experiences with children performing traditional Pediatric Physical Therapy, and pull this knowledge into her work performing Myofascial Release with children.
Diana loves working with children, helping them to understand their bodies and learn how to take care of their bodies at an early age. Diana also enjoys working with parents, helping them to understand their child's physical needs, and how they can continue to support their child beyond the treatment.
